I spent the last couple of days training with Mason Lane. For those of you who don’t know him, he placed 2nd at IPSC nationals in April 2024. He’s a very high level shooter and part of team SigSauer.
His training methods are similar to Ben Stoeger with his own twist. His training method runs you through a series of different drills where he observes you and then helps to point out areas of improvement.
His course is a very high round count but can be supplemented with dry fire. There was a range of static and dynamic drills designed to find areas of strength and weakness. What was unique about his class was he incorporated multiple drills within a drill where you could run different mini drills. That stood out along with his ability to identify the best bang for buck improvements to work on.
